Href.sh Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Href.sh, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you may not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Href.sh. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and are legally permitted to use the service under your local laws.

3. User Content

You retain full ownership of the files and content you upload (“User Content”). However, by uploading to Href.sh, you grant us a non-exclusive license to store, display (if shared publicly), and distribute your content as needed to provide the service.

You agree not to upload or share content that:

  • Violates any local, national, or international law,
  • Infringes any intellectual property rights,
  • Contains malware or harmful code,
  • Is obscene, threatening, or harassing.

4. Public and Private Sharing

Href.sh allows users to share files either publicly (with a link or on a public profile) or privately (accessible only by specific users or recipients). If you share content publicly, you understand it may be indexed by search engines and accessed by anyone with the link.

You are responsible for the visibility settings of your content.

5. File Limits and User Plans

Href.sh offers tiered service plans:

  • Guest/Unauthenticated Users
  • Free Plan: Limited to 25MB per upload and 1GB total storage. Files may expire after 30 days of inactivity.
  • Premium Plan: Larger file sizes (up to 2GB), increased storage (1TB+), and persistent links.

We reserve the right to adjust plan features at any time. Any changes will be communicated in advance to paid users.

6. Monetization Features

If enabled, users may monetize their content through:

  • Tipping from other users

You must comply with our Monetization Guidelines and applicable laws, including tax obligations. We reserve the right to revoke monetization privileges at any time for violations.

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been uploaded to Href.sh without permission, you may file a DMCA takedown request by emailing:

Your request must include:

  • Your contact info,
  • Description of the copyrighted work,
  • URL(s) of the infringing content,
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

We may notify the uploader and give them a chance to file a counter-notice if they believe the claim is incorrect.

8. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  • Use the platform for illegal activities,
  • Upload harmful or misleading content,
  • Circumvent access restrictions or abuse the API,
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity,
  • Use automated tools to scrape or overload the service.

Violating these rules may lead to account suspension or termination.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Href.sh at any time, with or without notice, especially if you:

  • Violate these Terms,
  • Abuse monetization or public sharing,
  • Upload prohibited content.

If your account is terminated, you may lose access to all files and features.

10. Service Availability

Href.sh is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may change or discontinue features at any time. We are not liable for service interruptions, data loss, or damages resulting from use or misuse of the service.

12. Modifications to the Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we’ll notify users via the platform or email. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day refund policy for eligible purchases of paid plans. To request a refund, contact our support at support@href.sh within 14 days of your purchase. Refunds will only be issued for unused services and are subject to our discretion.
